There are some things related to the commonplaces in the world of photography that I always try to avoid. Among these, there is the one catalog the types of photography within well-defined genres. For me, “around” means taking a camera and telling something through images. I do not distinguish whether it is a single photo or a more articulated story. I don’t feel any difference if my subject is a panorama, a party or an event. There is no difference even if I use a compact or an interchangeable optical system.
The difference is in always having something with me that allows me to photograph … and to tell stories.
